It is a privilege and honor to finally serve as an official member of the Coffeeville School District family. The Coffeeville School District offered me my first job as Band Director after graduating from Jackson State University in 1990. I was unable to accept the offer at that time, however, I am elated at the opportunity to finally serve the boys and girls in this great community. I look forward to meeting the students, faculty, staff, parents, and the community in the very near future. I am extremely grateful for all the well wishes, warm welcomes, and for the hospitality.
My educational philosophy is to expose students to a better way of life through education. I will lead district efforts in providing students with a quality education designed to prepare students for college and careers. I will work collaboratively with the School Board, district administrators, teachers, students, parents, and the community to create a district vision that will support students academically, socially, and physically. I will strive to develop a cohesive working relationship with the School Board to establish and develop School Board policies that will support and enhance teaching and learning in all schools. I will also work with stakeholders to create and cultivate a district culture that will be fueled by hard-work, dedication, and commitment to reaching and achieving very high academic standards.
